xSoTec meets you exactly where you are to collaborate effectively. We pride ourselves on listening closely to your needs, recognizing that you know your institution, staff, students, and families best. Based on that perspective, we deliver as much or as little hands-on assistance as you require. Typically, our consulting clients prefer weekly meetings during the active development phase, tapering off to less frequent sessions once the systems stabilize.
Building on the Past Towards a More Stable Future
Over the past decade, xSoTec has built dozens of additional utilities designed to seamlessly connect Google Sheets with Google Workspace and enhance automation. These include tools that copy entire Drive files and folders as well as interface with GMail, Calendar, Docs, and external CSV files. We continually innovate and develop new tools, giving our clients complete access to a growing suite of features to optimize and manage their spreadsheets like never before.
Typical Development Process
Interest Form & Intro Meeting
First,
fill out the interest form
on our website and we’ll follow up with you to schedule a
free introduction meeting.
This meeting will be an opportunity for us to learn about
your organization, the problems you’re facing, and what a
potential collaboration would look like.
Free Follow Up Meeting
At our second meeting, we will show you some examples of work we’ve done and talk more in depth about what a solution would look like for you based on what we learned about your organization. Based on your feedback, we’ll decide if you are ready for a quote.
Quote and Agreement
After our initial meetings, we’ll generate a quote that outlines your potential project development hours, billed at $210 an hour. Development hours won’t be billed until after work has been completed. If the quote looks good to you, you’ll pay a $7,500 Tools and Licensing fee that covers the back end infrastructure that makes our systems run.
Initial Development
We’ll collaborate and build your system with regular feedback. Together we’ll create a plan based on your priorities. You’ll have constant input on designs and construction, so you can let us know if priorities change. We’ll often roll out features while others are in development so you can start using it ASAP.
Implementation & Feedback
As soon as the system is ready, we’ll launch it. This could be weeks from our initial meeting. We’ll train your users and provide documentation videos. Once in use, you can gather feedback, make changes, or add new features. We’ll have regular check-ins and are always an email away.
Future Support
After implementation, xSoTec will still be there to help. Customers regularly opt-in to a yearly support contract for regular check-ins, new school year setups, support for user errors, handling data transfer bugs, and optimizing features to perfect them for your organization.
